At m | artedesign, the emotional component, that is, the desire to give a soul to each creation, combines with the constant implementation of activities aimed at increasingly sustainable production that involves the entire company organization as well as the suppliers.

The most important challenge is the durability of the products (finished 360°), which involves the use of durable materials with minimal impact in terms of volume, increasingly recycled (such as 100% aluminum) and recyclable. For this reason, the m | artedesign team is daily engaged in research, study, and development of the best solutions.

Towards disassemblability

Alongside the extension of product durability, there is attention to their end-of-life. The possibility of completely and easily disassembling seating and other furniture is increasing. Both in new products and in existing collections, revisited with new, modern, and more sustainable techniques and processes.

Levante

Levante has a shell made of polypropylene with 70% recycled plastic, derived from industrial residues, pre-consumer waste (PIR), and/or post-consumer waste (PCR). The shell is entirely recyclable at the end of the product's use.

Alfa

The polypropylene shell of Alfa is extremely thin: only 6.5 mm, with no need for reinforcements.
This reduces the material used without compromising maximum strength. It only "yields" at the end of its life, when it can be entirely recycled.

Our fabric offering is truly remarkable, with over 409 models divided into 8 categories. Materials chosen for both aesthetics and sustainability (certification details can be found in the product upholstery sheets). Here is a selection:

Packaging

To pack our products, we exclusively use 85% recycled and recyclable cardboard, without employing plastic or styrofoam. Hot glue is preferred over tape, and when tape is strictly necessary, it is made of paper.
